We had a superfast downwind sail to Nananuca-i-Ra on the north east point of Vitu Levu with two fine. Coming in through the pass was less straight froward than we've experienced before because we had 20 knots of wind on the nose and no breaking water to indicate reef. It was all on waypoints, an electronic charts and one poor mug on forward look out hanging onto the mast and getting soaked by spray. Once through the pass and into the lee of the land and all was calm.
We had a still anchorage and invited the Stray Kits for a dorado fish pie supper which went down rather well. The night was silent and we slept like sleepy sailors.
