Fired up on last night's lobster fest we (Gary and Jackie came with us) went walking along a part of the Queen Charlotte track. It's not hard walking; gentle inclines and a dry and well maintained path with views over the Pelorus Sound to one side and back into Endeavour Inlet to the other. I don't know if we walk slowly or if it's the beautiful scenery delaying us but it took us 3 hours to cover about 6 or 7 miles. I'll put it down to an extended stop at the Eatwell look out point with it's views north up the Sound and a glimpse of the north island in the distance.
