Another
day and another location. It was a longer trip today so I considered
packing a Thermos of coffee and sandwiches to keep us going on the
one mile journey but decided we could make it. Indeed I'd hardly
started my cup of tea before we'd arrived at Halletts beach. There
are two sets of moorings here, the first four balls in front of the
beach with waterfalls were all occupied as we approached, the other
four in front of the beach without a waterfall were empty but Lady
Luck was smiling on us. One of the boats was leaving and we were
able to hook up.
It
was another opportunity to strike out on the kayak, first to the
empty beach where we surprised a lonely lizard and then back to
bathing beach for refreshing dunks under the falls.
