We've
been in Labuan Bajo for four days and it doesn't feel like there's
been a moment to draw breath (not with the way David talks!),
catching up with friends with a shared meal ashore or going to
another boat for sundowners. It's all go, go, go. Tomorrow evening
there will be a gala dinner for the conclusion of Sail Komodo, not to
be confused with Sail Indonesia rally which goes on to Singapore.
Sail Komodo is a government initiative to promote sailing in
Indonesia and it began 4 weeks ago in Alor to the east of Flores.
It's
hot here and the islands of Rinca and Komodo are calling so we'll
depart on Sunday morning after the dinner on Saturday night. Time to
buy fresh produce in anticipation of having to begin cooking for
ourselves once more.
