Saturday 18 October Shellbacks

Back in the northern hemisphere after three and a half years in the southern. On April 10 2010 somewhere close to Galapagos we changed from Pollywogs (inexperienced or sailors who haven't crossed the equator) to Shellbacks (experienced sailors who have crossed the equator). At three am this morning we moved back from south to north, from spring to autumn.
At 6 we pulled into the anchorage for cheery hellos to our friends who spent the night here, breakfast and then a nap. David spent the afternoon in the engine room fixing the pump for the freshwater supply which spat the dummy last night and the evening we spent with Geramar who are celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary.
