6 January Durban
Our stay in Durban was brief, but not too brief. The local Raymarine engineer visited to try to fix the chartplotter but was unable to. If you are staying in Durban the two yacht clubs, Royal Natal YC and Point Bay YC extend a courtesy membership to international visitors. The Royal Natal has a fine restaurant where we ate the infamous Sunday carvery and had dinner a couple of times.
