Our
easterly sail back to the San Blas from Port Linton was not as
comfortable as the trip here. Not bad, but we were close hauled on
the wind and the seas were up to 2.4m, bigger as we approached the
entrance to the east of Porvenir. Nevertheless it was a fast sail,
so plenty of time to make our way to Banedup in the East Holandes and
have the anchor down at 09°34.88N 078°40.46W a couple of hours
before sunset.
The
weather forecast is for strong winds and big seas for the following
week and this is protected spot behind the island and surrounded by
reefs keeping the water flat.
