Last night we watched the fireworks set off from the ruins of Fort Berkeley on the north entrance to English Harbour. Today we took a walk out to the point. I understood was it was a perfect defence spot – you can see the island of Monserrat to the east, across Freemans Bay to Shirley Heights and to Nelson's Marina Dockyard.
