Sunday morning and we're at The Brewery in Lance aux Pines at 8am ready for the last, and championship deciding, race of the F1 season. We indulged in the obligatory full English and coffee as our pre race warm up and sat back to watch the nail biter. As is well known now there was controversy over the winner and we left as disappointed bunnies as our hero lost. 99% of the viewers were also heart broken – Lewis Hamilton's grandparents are Grenadian and the loss was personal.
On the plus side for today we had drinks with friends Ronelle and Muir of SY Ongemaak from Cape Town. We met them in St Helene in 2018, saw Ongemaak on the hard earlier this year in Carriacou and then ran into Ronelle & Muir at Budget Marine last week. Another happy example of small world syndrome.
