If all goes to plan this weekend we could be checking out on Monday! Throwing off the dock lines and sailing north to Martinique. At the moment the weather looks favourable for sailing. Time for those last minute jobs and sunset cocktails on the beach.
David donned his scuba gear and cleaned the hull. Not too bad for six months inactivity, but it was new anti foul shortly before we came into the marina. We've checked the engine runs, the generator is working, the propeller spins, all navigation lights are working, furling motors checked, winches checked, bow thruster checked. Some items needed a little attention, like a wire that had come adrift to the red light on the ignition and a propeller fouled with barnacles. Better now than on departure day.
