The very good news is that David's sciatica is steadily improving. This is the worst I've ever seen him. It's been more than six weeks since it started; longer than ever before and more painful than previously.
In the last week we were able to hire a scooter to get out and about. On a scooter you can carry and impressive amount of gear, ie two bags of laundry and a gas bottle in addition to the two riders. How? Ten pound gas bottle on the floor between the drivers feet and one bag of laundry on top. The second bag of laundry is held on the thigh of the passenger (me). We put the laundry in the machines at the Grenada Yacht club and ride on to the Rubis facility in Grand Mal to fill the bottle. Except on this day their pressure line had a fault and they couldn't fill it while we waited. Instead they dropped it off at the marina later in the day. There are services that will do a refill for you but it takes two days and close to twice the price of DIY.
