After an overnight in Dominica we arrived at the northerly port of St Pierre. When we were here 6 weeks ago an uncomfortable north swell wrapped around the headland and kept us rolling. Today no swell and all is sweet.
We checked in, did laundry and picked up a few items at the supermarket. It had been our intention to stay one night and leave but it is so quiet and pleasant we look at the calendar and decide to stay another day.
I went snorkelling and discovered some great stuff right off the black beach. There were small electric rays and on a rocky remains of a bit of reef I found many anemones with four lobsters hiding within. Surprisingly what you find sometimes.
