On the
last Saturday of July I flew back in the UK for a visit, to see my
Mum, my friends and pick up a few items of shopping. Three weeks
flew past. It was a glorious summer in England staying with my best
friends, Isobel and Mark, in Oxfordshire. I was able to spend lots
of quality time with Mum, met up with my friends I haven't seen for
far too long and lovely long country walks each day with Isobel and
her dog. I also increased the share price of Amazon, Marks &
Spencer, etc as I scooped up much wanted booty.
Meanwhile
back in Grenada David was clear to work on the boat while continuing
with treatment for his ears. The GP referred him to an ENT
specialist, a Cuban lady. She diagnosed his right ear has fluid in
the inner ear and in his right there is fungus – a common problem
in tropical climates – and prescribed more medication.
