We left the marina on the 1st and sailed 20nm south to Iles des Saintes to clean the hull before we begin our trip up to St Martin. There were no mooring available this time so we anchored outside the mooring field. Cleaning the hull here in the clear water is much nicer than in the dirty marina where a month of sitting still had allowed small barnacles to g and some algae to grow. The prop needed to be fully scrubbed for maximum efficiency.
However, it's not all work in the water; we dived the north west point of Ilet a Cabrit. A nice little spot with lots of fish. And we met new friends, British Bill and Dutch Marianne on catamaran Tantrum.
Tomorrow we plan to sail to the north of the island to stage overnight before continuing to Antigua.
