Back in the comfort of the marina we made good use of a wind-less day to repair the mainsail; some stitching had come undone at the very top. Once the sail was on deck though we found another half a dozen places where the stitching had come undone. Every time I use the Sailrite sewing machine I am thankful we invested and bought one. It so handy to have on board, and savings from not having to go to a sail maker.
On the
days with wind I did laundry, lots of laundry, washed the lampshades
and defrosted the fridge.
