The end of another year and time to reflect of what has passed and what to look forward to. Our 'look ahead' list has one item topping the page, find a new generator. Our reflections are on new friends made with a special mention here to the irrepressibly happy Romans, Anita, Fred and boat cat Shanu on Ciganka, generous and gentlemanly Del on Dignity and others too numerous to mention.
Our celebrations are low key; sunset drinks with our Danish / French neighbours Jens and Cecilia on SY Stinne and then a celebration dinner for two on board. My personal peccadillo nowadays is to avoid restaurants on NYE, Valentines Day etc. We feel Chez Jackster provides better service, food and convivial atmosphere. The other way to look at it is we're getting old. How sad is that? Happy New Year!
