I'm not happy with the quality of the work of hired help. The crew at Spice Island Marina was fully booked for October so we had chosen to go with a man who came recommended by a friend. He called him a 'demon polisher'. Unfortunately his technique for using a buffer is not as good. The finish is uneven with dull patches and streaks. He blames the compound we've provided, 3M which we've used every time before, and claims that a finishing coat will produce the desired gloss finish. David knows it won't and asks him to compound the starboard side once more with care.

I've been taking the covers off the seat cushions and taking them back to the laundry at the apartment to clean them. They come out of the washer looking new and smelling a peach.
Late afternoon I drive into St Georges to meet the 5pm ferry from Carriacou which should be bringing a couple of cans of Jotunmastic. While I wait I call the supplier to ask who I should speak to on the ferry. He calls me back to say 'very sorry, the guy bringing the package missed the ferry'. Oh dear! But he does say he'll make sure the cans go on the early ferry tomorrow morning and a taxi will bring it to Spice Island. That's okay. We can accommodate this.
One of the last things I did this evening was to track our Fedex delivery. Unbelievably it has arrived in Grenada – that's only 58 hours since I placed the order! Wow!
Some views from our elevated deck.

My no effort dinner was an Indian curry take away from the container park a mile from the apartment.
