It hardly seems like a month since we
were last here when really it’s been 9 months. It’s that easy to
slip back into Bonaire life.
We’ve been meeting our neighbours on
the dock, meeting friends we made on our last visit, diving on Klein Bonaire and along the coast, early morning,
as in pre dawn, walks along the esplanade or malecon, on our bikes cycling to the
supermarket and revisiting favourite restaurants. Polly has also
eased into life back in the marina, or rather the garden at the end
of the dock. Just business as usual in Bonaire comfortably sitting south of the traditional hurricane zone.
I think the pictures illustrate why we like it here. We plan to stay until November.
