We checked out and left St Lucia at 3pm today bound for Kralendijk, Bonaire. It’s going to be downwind all the way for 450nm so we estimate between 2 ½ to 3 days passage time. We're leaving a couple of days later than had originally been planned due to a weather front that passed over St Lucia yesterday. We feel it is better to follow a front than go ahead of one. Much kinder on the crew.
Our diesel tank is topped up with duty free fuel, jerry cans full with petrol, 1.5kg of juvenile trevally caught, filleted and frozen for Polly. We have enjoyed our brief stay in St Lucia and look forward to returning.
