14 November Last day in Bonaire

This morning's weather forecast has predicted tomorrow to be the last day for several days when the wind will be blowing strong enough to sail to Curacao. We like Bonaire and could easily have spent another 2 or 3 days but the option of either waiting another 5 days for the wind to freshen or motoring was less appealing so we took our boat papers and passports to customs and immigration and cleared out to leave tomorrow. In the afternoon we had one last dive and one last futile search for a seahorse before packing away our kit and prepping Jackster for a morning departure. For us this is taking down the sun awnings, folding away the extended sun bimini and lifting the dinghy and outboard motor on deck. The obsessive compulsive tidy me also likes to have a tidy below decks ready for the next country. You never know when you're going to get boarded by the coast guard and I wouldn't want them to think we're anything less than ship shape.
