Todays venue was Sarqui, a smaller island and further away from the weekend visitors. We were four boats and 20 pelicans in the anchorage. More beautiful water, more good snorkelling.
1 November 2009 Another day, another island
Onwards again. This time to Caya Agua on the furthest west point of The Roques. It's a very large lagoon with shallow and protected water on the inside. David and I took the dinghy to go snorkelling and towed it behind as we swam to be able to hop aboard when we'd finished. It worked better than anticipated so we'll do it again. The sunset was extra special. We've had thunderstorms pass over and the setting sun was reflected in these tall clouds.
