It was a quiet day so I can write about our little cat, Polly. She isn't quite as little now. Her weight has increased to nearly 2kgs she's grown half an inch to 8” to the shoulder. She's a great character and like any teenager has daylight issues, awake at night, asleep during the day. As the sun goes down she wakes up and goes on the prowl jumping around the deck, bouncing on the canvas cockpit cover and chasing a ping pong ball around the cabin. Then as dawn breaks she's on our bed attacking toes through the covers (it's cool enough at night for a blanket) until one of us submits and gets up to give her some breakfast. Then by 8.30am it's all quiet and she's found her sleeping spot for the day. She particularly likes the cubby holes where we keep books, inside the laundry basket and will wriggle into any cupboard if we leave the door open.
