It's
Easter weekend and there are treats for us this evening after our
hard day working. David has swapped out the old membranes on the
water maker, a job he does about every four and a half years and only
the third time since we bought Jackster. Our water maker is a
Dessalator made in France and if we bought the required two membranes
from them it would cost us in the region of $450. However, many
years ago our good friend Gary King on Inspiration Lady put us onto
Wateranywhere.com. Know your dimensions and you can buy generic
membranes, exactly the same quality, for less than half the price.
We bought a couple when we were in the States last summer. Now we
shall even more pure and refreshing home made water.
Our
Good Friday treat is steak on the barbecue, mushrooms and a bottle of
wine. Our first steak for a long time and our first sips of wine for
six weeks when we had the last drop of Chateau Carton (aka box wine) from
our stores. There's ripe brie for 'afters' and two happy campers at
bedtime.
