Our month in the marina in Martinique is over and we’ve sailed 20nm south to Rodney Bay in the north of St Lucia. We’ll be here for about a week before sailing on to Bonaire our safe pick for hurricane season where we have a berth reserved in the marina from 1 August.
One of the attractions of St Lucia is duty free fuel. The price per litre is about half the cost in Martinique, ie U$1 duty free in St Lucia compared with U$1.85 a litre in Martinique and U$2.00 in Bonaire.
